Hi, I’m Jen.
I offer therapy that’s warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship. We’ll slow things down. We’ll get curious. We’ll make space for the parts of you that have been carrying a lot.
You don’t have to do this alone.
What’s in a name?
Simpatico
In addition to being my surname, it has a deeper significance…
1: agreeable, likeable, nice
This used to feel like my whole identity. As a recovering people-pleaser, being nice—at all costs—was how I moved through the world. But over time (and through therapy!), I realized that “nice” was often just armour. A way to stay safe. A way to avoid conflict, rejection, or even being truly seen.
But simpatico has another meaning. It also means:
2: compatible, in sync, on the same wavelength
It speaks to deep, intuitive connection. That feeling when someone just gets you. That’s the meaning I hold close now.
It’s how I think about therapy: not about fixing or pleasing, but about attunement. About creating a relationship where you feel safe enough to explore who you really are, beyond the roles and masks.
Simpatico Therapy is named for that space.
Where real connection lives.
Where healing begins in relationship.
